Nov 6, 2026🤝 Daily Duos and the Lost series, reworked: live now!

A new quest menu for small parties is open, and the three Lost quests have been rebuilt for it.

📅 Daily Duos
A new menu in Episode 1, right under Daily Quests, with quests for one or two players. A new Duos quest is drawn every morning, alongside the regular Daily Quests. (With three or more in the party, it doesn't show.) Today's pick: Lost ICE SPINNER.

🗡️ The Lost series, reworked
Lost HEAT SWORD, Lost ICE SPINNER and Lost SOUL BLADE are back, reworked for one or two players: hire your partners from the broker, and face random spawns drawn from each area's own monsters. One of them is up in Daily Duos every day. Look for the "Reworked" tag; the originals are still where they always were.

👾 Invaders stays in Episode 1 → Featured until November 19, then joins the Daily Duos rotation.

Have fun out there! 👾

Nov 5, 2026🎮 SilusPSO 1.9.0: Quick party, Solo again and the LOBBY card

SilusPSO 1.9.0 adds new rows to the lobby counter's menu, and a LOBBY card in the launcher to set them up.

⚡ Quick party
A new Quick party row on the lobby counter makes a multiplayer game in one pick, with your own party name, password, difficulty and episode. It's off until you turn it on: open Settings > General, tick Quick Party on the Lobby Counter in the new LOBBY card, and give your party a name. The password is optional. Leave it empty for a party anyone can join. It's saved as plain text on your PC, so don't reuse an important password.

🔁 Solo again
Solo again has its own row, right under Solo. One click starts your last Solo difficulty and episode, and it remembers them after a restart.

🏷️ Name your Solo room
Set a Solo Room Name in the LOBBY card, up to 13 characters (accented letters are fine). Leave it empty and you get a random name, like before.

🔒 Locked choices say why
A difficulty you can't pick yet now says why, like Hard (needs Lv 20), and the menu stays open so you can pick something else. Quick party checks your level the same way.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It downloads, unpacks and builds the update, then restarts into 1.9.0.

Nov 5, 2026👾 New quest: Invaders is live!

Invaders is out now: find it under Episode 1 → Featured for the next two weeks.

Monsters from the Mines and the Ruins are loose in the Forest, and something is drawing them to the surface. Grab a partner (1–2 players; it can't be joined once it starts), track it down and shut it off.

Hunters for hire: talk to the mercenary broker by the Guild counter and pick a Hunter, Ranger or Force: Ash, Bernie or CICIL. Up to two can join your party for a fee, and in a duo you both see them fight beside you.

It has its own entry in the Quest Guide too.

Have fun out there! 👾

Nov 1, 2026🍂 Fall is here, and Before the Frost is live!

Halloween is over and the lobbies have turned to fall: autumn trees and red, yellow and orange leaves, all through November (1–30). Pioneer Halloween is packed away until next October.

❄️ New: Before the Frost
Until now fall only changed the scenery. This time it brings its own quest. Natasha needs the Mountain trail cleared so a Lab survey team can cross before the first frost. Find it under Seasonal, Episode 2, while the fall event runs. 1–4 players: gather your party first, it can't be joined once it starts.

🎲 Every run is new
The waves are random: the Mountain's own monsters, at the counts you know from free play. The Gibbles might turn up in any wave, or not at all.

⚙️ The reward
Clear the trail and report to Natasha, then each player collects their own Grinders from her: 1 Monogrinder on Normal, 1 Digrinder on Hard, 1 Trigrinder on Very Hard, 2 Trigrinders on Ultimate. Bag full? She'll ask you to make room and talk to her again, and you won't lose the reward. Run it as often as you like.

Its full entry, with a showcase video, is in the quest library. Have fun out there! 🍁

Oct 30, 2026🌐 SilusPSO 1.8.0: the portal, right inside the launcher

SilusPSO 1.8.0 puts the SilusPSO portal right inside the launcher.

🌐 Portal
There's a new Portal item in the menu bar, next to Play. Click it and your account page opens inside the launcher. Not signed in yet? Sign in there first, the same as on the website. Tick Keep me signed in and the launcher remembers you next time.

🔗 Links
Pages on siluspso.com open right there in the launcher. Links to anything else, like Discord, open in your normal web browser.

📶 Offline?
If the site can't be reached, the Portal page says so and gives you a Try again button. Play and everything else keep working.

▶️ Back to the game
Click Play or the SilusPSO logo to get back to the launch screen. The launcher stays open while you play, so the portal is there mid-game too.

🛠️ Under the hood
The launcher's old leftover parts have been rewritten. Nothing else changes for you.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It downloads, unpacks and builds the update, then restarts into 1.8.0.

Oct 27, 2026🧭 SilusPSO 1.7.0: a new look, and a login for everyone on your PC

SilusPSO 1.7.0 gives the launcher a new look to match the website, and makes it easy for everyone on one PC to have their own login.

🧭 A menu bar, like the website
Play, Mods, Settings and Community now sit along the top. Community has our Discord, the features list, the credits and the website.

👥 Players
Player ▾ at the top right lists everyone who plays on this PC. Add a player, rename or delete one, and pick who's playing before you press Launch. Logins you saved before carry over by themselves, named by your username.

🔑 Saving your login
Launch, log in once and reach the lobby. Alt-tab back to the launcher (it stays open while you play), then Player ▾ → Capture login. Next time, pick yourself and press Launch.

🧩 Mods
The Mods window is rebuilt and works as before: install, enable, disable, uninstall.

🛠️ Under the hood
Omnispawn is now our own rebuild. Our custom quests work just as they did.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It downloads, unpacks and builds the update, then restarts into 1.7.0.

Oct 26, 2026🆕 Player Portal update: in-game controls on your dashboard

Your dashboard on siluspso.com has a new In game card. It changes a few game settings for you, no chat commands needed:

🔔 Drop notices that stick
Pick what you get a message for when an item drops: off, rare items only, all items, or all items and Meseta. The site remembers your choice and switches it back on each time you log in to the game, within about half a minute of reaching the lobby. You can set it before you even log in.

📣 Announce my rare finds
Choose whether your rare finds get announced to the game and the server. It's saved on your account, and it doesn't change whether you see other players' finds.

📶 Ping me
Check your connection time to the server. The result shows up in your game window.

🎮 Game settings for party leaders
If you're leading a game, you can set:
• Level limits: the lowest and highest level that can join. Players already in your game aren't removed.
• A game password: lock the game with letters and numbers, or unlock it again. Everyone in the game sees the new password in a message.

Oct 24, 2026🧩 SilusPSO 1.6.1: MODS install fixed

A quick fix for the launcher's MODS window.

🧩 What was wrong
Since 1.4.0, mods added with INSTALL MOD were copied into the wrong place, so they didn't show up in game, and the list could show extra entries ending in "data". Mods you copied into the mods folder yourself were never affected.

🧹 If you used INSTALL MOD before this update
Open MODS and press UNINSTALL on:
• any entry whose name ends in data (for example "My Moddata")
• any mod you added with INSTALL MOD
Then add your mods again with INSTALL MOD. Pick the mod's own folder, the one with data inside. They'll show up the next time you start the game.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It updates itself to 1.6.1 and restarts, as usual. This is also the first update with the new progress screen.

Oct 23, 2026🪟 SilusPSO 1.6.0: the launcher stays open while you play

A small one after yesterday's big update. SilusPSO 1.6.0 changes how the launcher behaves while you play.

🪟 The launcher stays open
When you press Launch, the launcher now minimises to the taskbar instead of closing. Click it there to bring it back, or use the new – button next to the X. Opening the launcher again brings up the same window, not a second one.

⬇️ Updates while you play
If an update comes out while you're in game, the launcher downloads it in the background and installs it when you close the game.

📊 Real progress on the update screen
No more sitting at 70%. You'll see it download, unpack and build the update, with a real percentage as it goes.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It installs the update itself and restarts into 1.6.0, as usual. This one still shows the old bar sitting at about 70% for half a minute; the new progress screen starts with the update after this one.

— Silus

Oct 22, 2026🎉 SilusPSO 1.5.0 is here: our own client plugins

The update we teased yesterday is here. SilusPSO 1.5.0 swaps every client plugin for our own, written from scratch, and rebuilds the launcher's Configuration window around them.

🖥️ Widescreen, our own
The widescreen, HUD scaling and minimap are now ours, and Virtual Fullscreen works as before. Print Screen works again: press it in game and the screenshot lands in the `bmp` folder beside the game.

🎮 Controller: camera, lock-on and rumble
• Reconnect: if your pad drops out, or you switch it on after the game has started, it picks up again. No restart.
• Lock-on: hold LB (or Alt) on a monster to lock on. It reaches further across the room, and you can set how far.
• Rumble: a tap when you attack, a thump when you're hit, a heartbeat at low HP and one long fade when you fall. Set the strength yourself.

⚡ Fast loading screens
Logging in and warping are quicker. It's on by default; untick *Fast Loading Screens* on the launcher's General tab if you'd rather not.

⚙️ A rebuilt Configuration window
Same tabs, new Lock Range and Rumble Strength sliders, and saving now tells you if something couldn't be written.

📦 Your settings come with you
Your controller, sound and minimap settings and your saved logins carry over on their own. Nothing to redo.

How to get it
Just open the launcher. It downloads the update and restarts into 1.5.0. During the update the bar can sit at about 70% for around 30 seconds while the files are put together. That's normal, so let it finish. New player, or starting fresh? The download is on the site after you sign in.

Oct 22, 2026🆕 Player Portal update: dashboard tools and more

A new round of updates just landed on the player portal at siluspso.com. Here's what's new:

🧰 Dashboard tools
• Back up your characters: download a zip of your own character data from your dashboard. Keep it somewhere safe, and if you ever need it restored, ask staff here on Discord.
• Switch characters from the dashboard: while you're logged in to the game and standing in the lobby, pick another of your characters and switch to it without logging out.
• Change a character's Section ID: free, once every 30 days per account. Same rule: be in the lobby when you do it.
Open your dashboard

📊 Character stats that match the game
The stat cards on your Characters page now show the same numbers as your in-game equip menu.

🔑 Keep me signed in
There's a new box on the log-in form. Leave it unticked and you're signed out when you close your browser, or after 12 hours of not using the site. Tick it to stay signed in on that device for up to 30 days, as long as you visit at least once every two weeks. Nobody gets signed out by this update.

🛠️ Small fixes
• Long links in news posts no longer run off the edge of your phone screen.
• New game usernames can use letters, numbers and dashes. Underscores aren't allowed anymore. Existing names aren't affected.

Oct 22, 2026🌿 We're back, and The Missing Field Logs is live!

We're back up. Thanks for your patience this morning!

The Missing Field Logs is out now: find it under Episode 2 → Featured for the next two weeks. Gather your party first (it can't be joined once it starts) and go get Natasha's logs back. It has its own entry in the Quest Guide too. Missed the sneak peek? https://discord.com/channels/1221783197562441738/1561698516747816970

Lab chatter, cleaned up: the NPCs in Episode 2's Lab now speak clearer English.

🛠️ Under the hood: we've built the groundwork for multiplayer NPCs, helpers that everyone in the party sees and fights alongside. No quest uses it yet, but it's ready for the ones to come.

Have fun out there! 🔍

Oct 21, 2026🎮 Coming in a future client update: our own client plugins

We've started rebuilding the client plugins that come with SilusPSO as our own, written from scratch. The first three sets are done, tested in game and approved, and they'll arrive together in a future client update. Here's what you'll get:

🎮 Controller: camera, lock-on and rumble
• Controller reconnect: if your pad drops out, or you switch it on after the game has started, it starts working again. No restart needed.
• Lock-on: hold LB (or Alt) on a monster and the camera locks on straight away, and it reaches monsters further across the room you're in. It only picks monsters in your room. Flick the right stick to switch targets, and when your target goes down it moves to the next one while you hold.
• Rumble, reworked: a crisp tap when you attack, a thump when you take a hit (harder for bigger hits), a heartbeat when your HP is low, its own pattern when a status effect lands, and a long fade when you fall. All rumble shares one strength setting.
• A new lock-on reticle and lock-on sound, made by us.
The right-stick camera and the trigger shortcuts for palette slots work as they do now.

❤️ Low HP and mag alerts
New low-HP warning and mag-ready chime sounds, made by us. The coloured screen edge for low HP and status effects stays.

⚙️ Under the hood
The longer draw distance, the support for bigger game files and the crash guard you already have are now part of our own plugin. They're built to play it safe: if something doesn't look right, that part switches itself off instead of crashing your game.

🙏 Thank you, pixelated. The plugins we've all been playing with are pixelated's work, and they inspired these. Thanks for everything they've brought to Blue Burst.

More in progress. We'll post here when the update is ready.

The player portal on siluspso.com just got its biggest update yet. Here's what's new:

Oct 17, 2026🎉 Server's back, and this one's a big update!

We're back online, and there's a lot to dig into. Thanks for your patience this morning! Here's what's new:

⚔️ AOL CUP -Maximum Attack- is Featured! Find it under Episode 1 → Featured for the next two weeks, then it joins the daily quest rotation. We fixed its badge counter, so 3 Gold Weapons badges now get you your pick of Toy Hammer, Samba Maracas or Chameleon Scythe. That prize was never reachable before. Go claim yours!

🌅 AOL CUP -Sunset Base-, fully mapped out: the Quest Guide now covers everything it pays: the lovesick Rappy's Mag Cell on Hard and up, the badge fountain's Weapons shields and Photon Drops, and Akiko's Wok. Those Gold badges from Maximum Attack? The fountain takes them too.

💍 Dark Falz drops again on Ultimate: RED RING is back, along with Rico's Glasses, Rico's Earring and DF SHIELD. Olga Flow now drops D-Photon Core and Parasitic gene "Flow" on Ultimate, which unlocks Gael Giel and the DARK FLOW / DARK METEOR / DARK BRIDGE upgrades. Heads up: the gene only works if your character can equip the DARK weapon it turns into, stat requirements included. If not, the option to use it won't show up.

Credits: the Omnispawn entry on the Credits page now credits Solybum's Blue Burst Patch Project the way it names itself, along with everyone who worked on it.

Server update: the game server is updated to the latest version, with fixes along the way. Enemy HP bars still work: switch them on in the Patches menu as before.

Have fun out there, and tell us what you pull! 🍀

Oct 17, 2026🛠️ Player Portal tools on siluspso.com

I've put a lot of time into the player portal on our site, and it's packed with tools now. Here's what's there:

🔍 Drop table
Search any rare by name, filtered by episode, difficulty and Section ID, to see which enemy drops it. Open the drop table

👾 Rare monsters
Where rare monsters spawn, with the currently boosted ones tagged. See rare spawns

📜 Quest guide (WIP)
Which quests can give out what, gear included. Rewards that need more than just clearing the quest aren't documented yet; PSO has plenty of secrets. Open the quest guide

🧬 Mag guide + feeding calculator
Plan a mag's feeding route step by step. Log in and it reads your real mags, equipped or banked, so you can simulate different routes, including trading a mag to another character. Open the mag guide

The drop table and rare spawns need a free portal account (log in first). The quest and mag guides are open to everyone.

Everything here comes from the data our server actually runs, so guides from elsewhere may not match.

Please make use of these tools, they'll help! More is on the way.

Oct 15, 2026SilusPSO client 1.4.0 is out

Client update 1.4.0 is live! 🎉

Fixes a crash on start after recent Windows 11 updates. Some players may find the game closes or crashes as soon as it starts after a recent Windows update. This update brings newer video DLLs (dgVoodoo 2.87.5) that fix it.

How to get it: just open the launcher. It updates itself on its next start. It's about a 43 MB download, and there's no admin prompt.
Your settings, saved logins, mods and team flag are all kept.

Also new:
• The title screen now shows your SilusPSO version, so you can see at a glance you're up to date.
• An old line in the widescreen settings file gets fixed automatically the first time you press Launch. You don't need to do anything.

Trouble? If the update doesn't come through, or the game still crashes on start, post in the Discord and I'll get you sorted. Only download the client from siluspso.com, never from a link someone DMs you.
