What you get playing here.

Server

Rotating EXP and drop ratesExperience and drop multipliers are re-rolled every 8 hours, between 1.5x and 3.0x. Current values and the next change time are always shown on the front page.
Daily quest rotationTen quests are drawn fresh each morning from separate pools across Episodes 1, 2 and 4, so there is always something different to run.
Rare monster spawn boostsTwice a day two rare enemies are boosted well above their usual 1/500 rate. Which ones are boosted is shown on the front page.
Increased item stackingMates stack to 30 instead of 10, and fluids, antidotes and anti-paralysis to 50. Scape Dolls stack to 3. Every grinder and material stacks to 99, so a full set of stat materials no longer eats your entire inventory. Everything else stacks exactly as it always did.
Larger bankThe bank holds 1,000 items instead of 200, and 2 billion meseta instead of the old 999,999 cap.

Client

Widescreen supportProper widescreen rendering at modern resolutions, with a scalable HUD, rather than a stretched 4:3 image.
Large asset supportHigh-resolution texture packs and other oversized mod assets load without crashing the client. Community packs that need this - Ashen's texture pack among them - work here, where a stock client would crash on them.
Mod loaderDrop a mod folder in and it loads - textures, models and sounds are redirected at runtime, so your real game files are never modified. Remove the folder and the mod is gone.
Controller cameraFull right-stick camera with adjustable sensitivity, inversion and dead zone, plus rumble. Set from the launcher rather than by editing files.
Hard lock-onLock onto a target and keep facing it, with automatic re-acquisition when it dies and right-stick cycling between nearby enemies.
Status and mag feedbackLow HP gives an audible and visual warning, the seven status conditions are shown clearly, and your mag chimes when it is ready to be fed.
Solo play without the menu crawlCreating a solo game is one step from the lobby menu instead of six.
Twenty character slotsTwenty characters per account instead of the stock four, so you can keep a full spread of classes without juggling accounts.
Extended draw distanceObjects and enemies render further out than the stock client allowed.
Action palette on a controllerThe palette hotbar is usable directly with a controller through button chords, instead of opening the menu every time.

Server and client

OmnispawnQuests can place monsters that would not normally appear in an area. The client carries the patch and the server is ready for it - no quests use it yet, but they can.
